About The Weight of Weight
Women comprise 47% of the workforce. The Weight of Weight was founded after a study was conducted focusing on women in leadership. Although there was no statistically significant relationship between characteristics by age or race (honesty, integrity, coachable), the leaders showed a slight to moderate preference for thin candidates.
The WOW is designed to "work with individuals, educational entities, companies, and non-profits on their biases in the hiring practices of women who experience weightism.*
